My wife and I had our new BX2350 delivered last weekend (it had 2hrs showing on it). We got it with a FEL, 60" MMM, and a Box Blade. I am curious how *loud* the hydraulic whine should be when raising the box blade? It seems *quite* loud to me and though it lessons considerably after raising the blade, it is still fairly loud.

After using it for roughly an hour (and reading a few posts on the forums) I decided to check the fluid levels the next day. The transmission fluid was at least 1" below the dipstick and the front axle oil was roughly 1cm below the dipstick. Needless to say I was *highly* irritated at our dealer and called them the next day. They came over (25mi trip) immediately and filled both up with Super UDT and left some for us. We also had them sign a letter stating that it was delivered with 2hrs on it and low fluid levels (luckily the engine levels were fine).

One of the reasons I'm wondering about the noise is because in the user's manual for the BXs, it states:

"If noises are heard when implement is lifting after the hydraulic control lever has been activated, the hydraulic mechanism is not adjusted properly. Unless corrected the unit will be damaged."

Perhaps I'm hearing something different than what the manual describes, but now I am paranoid.

thanks,

-doug

Looks like it's been a while since you posted and no answers. I bought a 2350 last fall and it also has some whine to it. My fluids were all ok. I think the ROPS transmits the whine noise up close to our ears and makes it seem loud. All of my hydraulics work fine and I'm not worried about it.
