Robert, didn't get the 26 because I haven't needed the extra 3 horse with my last one. With my 2370, my wheels would spin before I ran out of power, so I really didn't consider it when moving to the 80 series. I maintain our neighborhood road and in 4L, I can pull a full box blade up hill. If the scarifiers are down too far, i'll spin before running out of power. This with the rear wheels filled. The 2380 is pretty much the same. I do feel like it's heavier, but I haven't looked at specs, just a feel so far. I felt even more comfortable mowing the grass side-hill on a steep area Monday night. I have the rears filled on this tractor too.
re: the drill; my brother says it's the Genesis 3.
re: telescoping stabilizers; those I had fabbed from Mark Hodge (markhdg@gmail.com) who custom makes them for BX's. I already had them on the BX2370 and moved them to the new one. The ones that come standard are garbage. I've broken them several times (they break the tack welds off the nuts and then the U bends out of shape) doing box blade work and heard about Mark Hodge here.
Old Red, The remotes are an option you can add from Kubota. My dealer installed them. Took him a while to get them to come in though. I've been waiting a while. But with you having the BX23S, you should already be set up due to having the ports for the BH?
I used the grapple a lot last night moving tree debris. This one has a lot less slop than my SGC 0548 did. I really like the joystick location better. Took me a little while to adjust to having an up/down switch instead of separate buttons for each finger, but once I ran it for a little while it became more intuitive and I had less fatigue on my arm.
