Well, my trusty old JD 316 died last week after 18 years of good service. So I quickly consulted this board and reviewed the information about the CC. After gather this information and talking with the dealer, I decided on the 2550. I'm also getting the 42 inch, dual stage snowblower for it.
I drove one around the dealer's yard, nice rig, much smaller then the old JD. The mounting of the deck should go much quicker. I didn't like at how hard the blower is to mount, the JD was very easy to mount. The safety crap about cutting in reverse is a joke, but thats govern't. Overall, it looks to be well design and built.
I saw some post about checking the light wiring, anything else to check. What about breakin procedures/oil changes.
Thanx's to the board for all your posts, which helped me greatly in this purchase.
