- CK30 HST and allis chalmers b with belly sickle at dads farm. Yanmar 2210DB , ford 8N .farmall cub
here are some pics of my pretty new CK30 cutting hay for the first time. I gave up waiting on the tiller and BH to get in and brought it home.
I picked up an IH belt drive mower for $50.00 and Dad and I spent a day cleaning it up and lubeing it and to get the spring on the bottom worked free. it had a 9ft sickle on it and I cut it down to 7ft. sharpened the blade and away I went. The CK30 handles it very nicely. We also had to fabricate a couple of knife pins as it didn't have one. (It is the pin that connects the sickle bar to the wobble head.) I heard they might be close to $80 for new ones.
This is one SWEET tractor. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I really do like the hst too. I know when I was looking at tractors I wasn't sure I wanted it. KNOW i'm glad i got it.
