Looks like the same plow I have...Haven't used it in the snow yet, my hopes are high though..

Xterra, I have the same plow on my RTV1100 2009 and find it great. Just now getting it on for this winter's use, :thumbsup:as it came off my RTV900 2008 after I traded for the hot/cold air of the new cab.
I bent the skid shoe on one side the second day, trying to plow dirt. Don't do that!
And I removed the rubber flap, it made the plow too heavy as I plow on pavement and don't use the shoes at all. It also rolls the snow ahead of you better without the flap. My opinion.
It now has a hydraulic lift which I put on myself and really like that. The electric unit is light and you may find the need to backup when it doesn't want to lift with a lot of snow in front of you.
Swings to a nice angle left/right. Good blade, not commercial grade but seems to be okay for the last 2 years I've used mine.

Spud,

Does you plow have a little slop in it if you shake it front to back?...Put mine on yesterday, and I just noticed it....Might be my OCD:eek:

Tim, not sure which way you mean. Loose in the plate that attaches to the main frame with the two holding bolts or loose in the left/right swing if you move one end front to back. I'll check both when I do put it on.

Rocking back and forth on the main pivot bolt. There is just an upper plate, no lower...So the bolt is taking all of the hit...Might be cool. Just checking.

That is a very nice plow. Good luck this winter and let's both hope for some snow.

Tim, just checked mine and yes it rolls back and forth too. Not bad though, so I suspect yours is the same. Used it the other day to plow garbage, don't ask, worked great.
