Hello there,
I am working on a HydraMac 8B, which I am enjoying very much, even after some miserable carburetor and ignition problems. This week I wanted some customized lighting - something I can write a program to control - because if its worth doing, its work overdoing... So here's what I have designed. I started by mounting my micro controller to a breadboard, this allows easy wiring changes. Once I had a design I was happy with, I drew up a sketch of the circuit in a PCB layout program, and etched a circuit board.
After that, I mounted 6 LED marker lights, two amber in the front above the headlights, two amber in the back, and two reds just below. Check out the completed project at YouTube I also has an ignition beeper that sounds 3 times when you turn the key. - Is it weird that a 1975 Hydra Mac has a USB port?
