New guy from Maine,
I just took delivery of two brand new John Deere 6430 Premium tractors along with two rear mount Alamo boom mowers.
This seems like a very useful forum and Im looking forward to being a part of the crowd.

Congratulations. That's an impressive looking set of twins. Just curious, What sort of mowing do you do that requires two boom mowers?

Ill mow anything for anyone, private roads or public, Why two mowers,
Well one thing is that it is safer to have two tractors when your mowing 15-30 miles in the woods on dirt roads, if one tractor gets hung up you can pull it with the other and no one should mow alone incase of injury or rollover.
I got two mowing heads for each tractor also one is a 50 inch rotory brush hog and the other is a tree limb cutter so depending on what you are mowing one tractor can trim limbs and the other can mow grass and so on.
Last thing is I am putting a 8 foot snow blower on one and a 10 foot snow plow on the other this winter, snow blower for small yards and the plow for roads.

With the hand / eye co-ordination to handle that equipment, you must be a terror on an Xbox or PS3:thumbsup:

PS2 :confused2: I need to update.
Yeah your hands are full when your mowing. I have cut off a few trees I did not intend to. The limb saw will cut a 5 inch tree and not skip a beat and its amazing how many people will drive their car right up behind you not knowing the danger.
Between the joy stick for the mower, controls for the tractor and idiot drivers you dont get bored.

Do you plan to mount the plow to the 3pt?

Do you think that will withstand the forces applied by the plow?

The local JD store has a rental arm. They put out several 6430P's to the Malls & Home Depot etc equipped with front mount Horst Snow Pushers with the hydraulic wings. Don't recall if they are 10' or 12' but they seem to be gaining in popularity.

Havent been on for a few weeks sorry for the delay.
If i remember right the front hitch is rated for 8,800lbs I just made a post on the snow plow I hooked on the front. I also have a 8ft Frontier rear mount snowblower mounted on the front of the second tractor.

Some serious equipment you got there. they make the alamo equipment in Segiun Texas about 1.5 hours from where I live. I've always wondered how tough it is to manage a boom mower. Wonder if you had a buddy seat, 1 could control the mower while someone drives the tractor. I can barely pat my head and rub my belly at the same time.

I appreciate the concern which is been rose. The things need to be sorted out because it is about the individual but it can be with everyone. The initiative taken for the concern is very serious and need an attention of every one. This is the concern which exists in the society and needs to be eliminated from the society as soon as possible. There is nothing called a free lunch is this world. If anything needed to be resolved then initiated need a support to be sorted out.
