Well my DK35 was delivered on Saturday. It's been showering here on and off since so I haven't been able to try out the brush hog.I have had a chance to work on my 800ft. driveway with the box scraper and leveled out some sides with the scraper and FEL.So far I can say I'm pleased with it's performance in the things I've done with it.I've already lost a nut to one of the bolts where the loader bolts to the frame. But my biggest problem is that I can't keep it in 4 wheel drive for any length of time.It keeps disengaging on me all the time. It's a real pain in the butt to get this thing to engage as I've seen others post with the hard engagment.I may have to give the dealer a call on Tuesday.

I'll try and post a picture of it and with any luck it will stop raining here in the NorthEast.

Give this a shot. Put it in gear [1-2-3-4] Forward reverse in neutral, now put your heel on the 4wd handle and push down WHILE just pushing lightly on the F/R handle. No clutching. It sounds to me like it is not going all the way into 4wd. It is also sticky at first to disengage. Try speeding up [foot throttle] and let off quick and pull up on the 4wd handle.
Others have posted about a dealer fix, but no specifics yet. bcs

Thanks,I'll give it a shot.I can feel it going in alright but whether it's far enough is another story I've had to do this now about a dozen times now in just 3 hours of work..It seems to pop out when I'm either pushing or pulling the box scraper or using the FEL.It's funny I have a 4 wheel drive indicator light on the instrument panel and my brother bought a DK 35 a couple of weeks before me and he says he doesn't have it.

I'm sure you'll like your DK35. I didn't get to use mine this weekend, it is raining a lot - but that's ok we are very dry down here and the farmers are sure happy to get the rain /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Mine has the 4wd indicator -and it seems to work ok. But then none of the indicators are particularly visible in bright sunlight.

My 4wd lever is a devil to push into 4wd, but I havent' had any trouble with it popping out - and it is somewhat easier to get out of 4wd than in...

Since mine was stuck in the shed I took the opportunity to wax that pretty orange paint /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Justaplain, that was a geat tip for putting it into 4WD,alot easier that way.But it still disengaged twice after doing it that way.I was hoping it was going to be something simple like not being in enough, but using my heel I could feel a good solid engagment.
