Hi all, very clean, clean indeed! Remember now, most of my other stuff is from the Roosevelt era so anything newer than that is rather tight. I'm not saying i'll be happy with anything though, with lots of questions (answered by you folks) and lots of research, this is the machine for me!
Bushings are cool, especially when you cant fit your pincky finger in the hinge to measure the slack /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif. Woods 9000 grounderbreaker BH hangs the stern. Happy I paid the extra for it (about $800, i forget?). I'm really used to sticks so the 2 levers leave me...like a new guy, you know the ones we used to pick on when we were younger? Glad they cant see me now, i'd get spanked.
We did manage to break 1 grease fitting on the elbow, it seems when streched out, the fitting is simply in the way. I guess it depends on where you locate the fitting huh? Anyway its no longer in the way! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif. Doesn't seem to be any easy fix, save, die grinding a channel in the path of the grease fitting until I get clearance, or, just relocate the fitting. I thing i'll opt for the die grinder thing, its only in the "pathway" for about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch and maybe weld a tiestrap hovering over the channel to tighten things up and still get clearance. What do ya think?
I'll check back later with ya and I KNOW, I KNOW-PICS. Unfotanately, we lost the manual to the digital and cant seem to downsize the bytes and they're rejected from most sites. We're getting a camera phone very soon so i'll post some ASAP thanks alll! Tom
