New DK55 and 1595 \"THIS LOADER CAN\'T BE RIGHT!\"

Just got my new DK55 and 1595, after first buying a DK45 w/1470 loader. After discovering the 45/1470 wouldn't budge the loads I needed to move the Dealer took it back and sold me the 55/1595. The Tractor is awesome, lots of power, great operation, and laid out great. The 1595 loader is border line dangerous, if not very poorly conceived. This loader has about no useable rollback capacity, and the self leveling mechanism is very limiting and dangerous. I've lost lumber, and logs while moving simply because I could not adjust rollback beyond level on the slightest downgrades.

I am hoping there is some way to exchange the front cylinders and leveling mechanism, to overcome this bad design flaw. I really like the oem fit and overall design of the matching Kioti loader. I just want to fix it!

Any Shade Tree Engineers out there with any ideas?

I think they should have made a "curved" loader for this tractor. To me the more traditional looking loader looks wrong on this tractor. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

I haven't had any issues with the rollback or self-leveling on my loader.

I understand that a retrofit repair is in the making for a few models of loaders with rollback problems. Keep checking with your dealer for updates.

A service bulletin should be sent to the dealer as soon as the fix is in. John

I had the same issues with my 1595 loader, it sucks, sorry to be blunt. My dealer reconised this right off and I got a Woods 1020 no charge. This loader matches the tracotr, asin , you can actually work. I think the self leveling concept might be good for some body somewherer but it did not work for me. I hear you about going downhil losing your load. I got tough with Kioti and a guy from Korea actually called me. Stay on them ! They know there is a problem. Best of luck

GMOL That same dealer wanted 3600 bucks to trade my 1450 to a Woods. No buccket involved.

Is there also a "suck factor" with the 1450 ? Maybe I got a sweat deal, no charge !My 1595 was not right form the minute I got it. Bent leveling arms due to bad relief valves, couldn't pick up logs with forks , no power or roll back, and could not load bucket with excavator due to no roll back angle. It was basically useless for any application I had . Threatend to get a difernet color tractor to Kioti Corp. and that is when the guy from korea called.
