My DK55 was delivered yesterday :cool2:

I went with R-4s (rarely muddy here) at widest setting, Rimguard, and a sunshade. I also picked up a post hole digger and a bale spear.

Much thanks to TBN member advice on my DK50 vs 55 dilemma: http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/kioti-buying-pricing/305783-much-time-looking-down-last.html. I decided that the turbo DK55 at my altitude (7,200') overcame my desire for HST.

Over the years I learned a ton reading posts here at TBN, which allowed me to make a confident purchase. Now I just need some seat time.

Looks great, be sure to check that air pressure in the tires. They look a little hard to me. ;)

Thanks MtnViewRanch, I asked the dealer about that specifically -- the tech said run them at the (max) rated pressure of 30psi (as mentioned the tires are filled). After your comment I consulted TBN forums and everything I see says that's too high, so I think I will back them off to about 20psi and see what that looks like. Appreciate the tip.

Let them down to at least where the full tread width hits the ground. I would run the fronts at max because of the loader, but I doubt that the rears will even be close and I don't think that the rears have a 30psi rating either, but I might be wrong. :confused3:

I know that my 19.5x24 R4s are only rated for 20psi and the front 12.5x80s are rated at 46psi. ;)

I can run 15 in back and 25 in front and with a 1000lb + bale on front and back the tires are still standing straight on my DK 45, R4, my ground is too rough for more pressure and if mowing 10acres or more plan to lower the pressure more.
