Kioti DK65
Well I did it. I'm the proud owner of a brand new DK65. It was delivered early this evening, so I was able to play with it a couple of hours before dark. I worked up the arena with a spring tooth harrow. I also got a loader with it, and found out that it does hinder you some working in confined spaces, but I think I'll get used to it.

I've got lots of projects to do with it this weekend, so I should be having alot of fun. That is if I don't get called to work during the day.

Anyway just had to let ya'll know I'm now a member of the Kioti club. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Well I finally got some pictures taken of the new tractor. I had to stop working it long enough to wash it and take a few pictures. It has the industrial tires on it right now, but will be getting the ag tires this week. Will also be getting a canopy and a hay spear, when the tires get here.
I love the way this thing works, just have to get used to the size of this thing. I had a MF 165, but the DK65 made it look like a compact tractor. The 165 was a good tractor, but now I have a great tractor /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif.

Here's a picture of the beast.

MAN! I forgot how BIG this thing is! Count 'em 1....2.....3 steps to get to the deck (or should I say "command bridge"...)!!

Thanks for the pics - lookin' schweeeeet.

I also parted ways with my Massey 65 when I bought my DK65.

I noticed something looked different on yours,,, and when Markie mentioned the steps,,, that was it. Your paint scheme is different than mine. My steps are gray, and so is the top part of the cab area.

I'm also not used to seeing the original exhaust stack /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif.

You can send the industrial tires up here. I could use a spare set. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Why are you going with the Ag's????

Well here's an updated picture of the DK65, with the R-1 tires, canopy, and my hay spear. I'm a little disappointed with the canopy, I thought it'd be a little more substantial, but I guess if it keeps the sun off of me then it will work.

RedDog; I went with the ag tires for the added traction, I'm not really concerned about rutting up anything, as this tractor will see more pasture then anything else. I used the loader last weekend to load some big iron ore rocks and found the R-4s spun even in four wheel drive. I'm sure the
R-1s will break loose and spin also, with a big enough load. But I think they'll grip much better. Every tractor I've used has had ag tires on it, except the commercial tractors I've used a work.

I also noticed in one of past posts, you showed a picture of a front ag tire that had been cut on the loader. That had me concerned, but I ran the wheels from lock to lock, and seem to have plenty of clearance on both sides. I want to see another picture of yours, now, to see what differences that they've made.

So far I'm loving this Kioti, but again I'd probably be happy with any new tractor /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif. Anyway I guess I'll quit rambling and post the picture.

I can't seem to find my pictures,, but I'll take some new ones.

I orginally ordered mine with the Ags, but had that problem with them. I believe in order to have the Ags the wheels have to be spaced all the way out,, if I remember correctly.

To me it worked out great!! I think the R4's will better with the loader. Wider stance and bigger footprint on the ground. And not to mention the R4's cost more, but didn't cost me anything over the Ags. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I have just under 200 hours on mine.

I'll keep in touch, RedDog Kioti DK65
