I thought somebody on here said the new DK65S was going to have a 4 cylinder Perkins motor in it. According to Kioti's website it still has the 3 cylinder in it. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I cannot complain at all about the 3 banger!! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Red Dog, It is a 3300 cc three cylinder instead of a 2700 cc 3cylinder as in our DK65s. Still turbocharged though. I'm surprised that it only generates 64 hp like the smaller old one.

Yes, someone did say that, and they were wrong. Perkins is the culprit. They were going to develop a 4cyl for it, but decided instead to stay with the 3cyl, but it's larger and has intake/exhaust change. Before, they were both on one side, now there's a crossover. It's a much better engine in my estimate. John

According to sources. The engine is larger displacement as was stated. It also is supposed to use less fuel yet put out more torque.
Torque is always a good thing. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Tractor is also a little heavier.

Are you sure about that? My manual says 4991. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif And I didn't write that in either. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
