congrats on the new tractor. i have my new dk45se hst for about 1-1/2 months........comming up to 50 hours on the thing already.

Love the tractor.....does everything i want. i had to remove the front loader yesterday...now that was a chore. my older JD870 was alot easier to remove the loader on. i guess it will get easier over time....who knows.

I just thought I would give everyone an update. My DK45 is 2 weeks old tommorow and the hour meter clicked over 28 last night as I shut it off. So far I have used it only around my daughters house she is building. Mostly loader work, box blade, and rake. The 45 impresses me more each day I use it, I have moved more than 50 yards of dirt, backfilled the foundation, contoured the yard, top dressed the yard with top soil. I even borrowed the neighbors forks for his skid steer to move a couple left over skids of blocks, handled them with no problems. At this rate I am looking at 50 hr service in another week or two.

better get a nice strong strap wrench for that HST filter removal. I think they had Arnold Schwarzenegger install them. My regular filter wrenches didn't even fit it.
