NEW eMax 22 Gear

Took delivery yesterday of this new emax gear with a 60" mmm. This is my first tractor and second choice from a large zero turn. I looked at a 1023/1025 and a BX2370 but settled on the Mahindra for price reasons. Its a solid built little tractor my only complaint is the mid pto stopped when the clutch is pressed and it likes to creep if the mid is engaged. Kinda reminds me of the 8n I learned to drive growing up.

. I'd call the dealer and ask about it creeping with the mid engaged.

congrats - what no bucket? that is the most useful piece of equipment for me. also - what is that pedal on the right way out to the side? i have the max series so never really noticed that before - unless i did and forgot about it when i did sit on an emax model years ago. Enjoy! I am most pleased with mine!

looks like it only applies to HST versions.

I never knew emax22's came in a gear version.

Thats for HST units only. This geared unit creeping sounds like the clutch is dragging. It may clear as the clutch gets some break in time on it.

what is that pedal on the right way out to the side?

Is that not a foot throttle? One that works just like the throttle on the dashboard?

Small pedal is foot throttle as mentioned. Very useful. It only creeps with mid pto engaged while releasing the clutch until the blades spin down. I had no use at all for a bucket but kind of regret not getting one seeing as how capable this little thing is with the box blade I have. At the minimum it would have been extra weight, but it was only 11,300 without the loader and with belly mower.
