Good bye BX........Hello B. I just traded my BX 2660 for a B2620 with FEL and MMM. The price was okay with Kubota rebates and the tractor looks well assembled, all fluids in range and tire pressure okay. But the FEL measures about 3/4 inch lower on one side vs the other at the front of the bucket edge. What about that? Maybe using the hydraulics a few times will level it out....maybe not. What do you all think?

Besides mowing already, its next chore is to plow up my potatoes. I can hardly wait to put the spade forks away.:cool2:

The FEL is supposed to line up with the rear tires. The front ones move up and down to accommodate bumps and such. Could be the ground was just uneven enough to account for the difference. You could compare the distance from rear pin on left loader arm to right side bucket pin to the distance from the opposite setup (rear right pin to front left pin). Might not tell you much other than if it's "square".

Thanks KPark. Sounds like I'd have to take the bucket off to measure that. Will see.

how many hours do you have on the unit before you made the measurement?

Try cycling the bucket up/down and curl half dozen times or so. Plus cycle the steering wheel from r/l lock to lock a few times and take the measurement again on a surfacet you know to be flat like poured garage floor and let us know what happens.

Thanks, boakley. The tractor is brand new and only has been used to mow for a total of 1.5 hours and only a few moves testing the the motions of the loader control stick when my first observations were noted. Will let you all know how this works out after some testing and measurements....probably next week. I hate it when contributors try to help a member and then never hear how it turned out. Mike

lock to lock on the steering wheel half dozen times first then run the bucket through full range of motion another half dozen times.

If brand new maybe need to circ. all fluid and get any air out of the system that maybe happened at time of installation before a level is made.

Make sure your rear tires are at the same pressure. Rear tire pressure will affect how your loader sits. Also the main loader mounts may be out just a bit. You may have to loosen the mounts and make sure the slack in the holes are all in the same position. If you know what I mean. And then the jig might have been out when it was welded together.:2cents:

After moving the FEL thru all the positions, high, low, curl up, curl down and turning the steering full left and right several times, the bucket edge is a whole lot closer measuring left and right. As best as I can measure there is still about 1/8 - 1/4 inch differance between the left and right which is noticeable when one lifts the front end with the loader. You see it as the FEL shifts unevenly to the right side. But it is a whole lot better now. Maybe some more tweaks in usage will level it perfectly. Will save checking the loader mounts for later. Boy, if the jig was off a tad, that's it!

Now, to plow up some potatoes with the middle buster. No sweat................."Yeah"! Thanks Mike
