well not exactly NEW, but new to me :D

Theres a little forklift place in a town a few miles from me "out in the middle of no where" and ive ment to stop in for months and ask about forks.

I finnally get a chance today while running some other erronds.

I walk up and ask if hes got any old used forks lying around.

"ya i got a few"

So we chat about them, i ask can i see them, we walk to the back of the lot were in neet(ish) bins he probiby has no less than about 60 sets  rangeing from little cute 24" ones up to huge 10Klbs 2.5" thick 48" long ones. most are around the 36" size.

I pick out a set of 34" ones ask how much, he says $40! just about ripped my pants pocket trying to get my wallet out fast enough. Handed him 2 twenties and he put them in the back of my truck. :D

I have to see if one of the (not so) local dealers still has the QA bucket setup rusting away in his back lot. if he does ill buy it and make a QA setup for them, else i guess ill just fab up a pin on set

for anyone else in the area looking for a set, on the west edge of shipman IL south side of the road on hwy 16, cant miss it.

Kenny, can you give me the info where you purchased your forks? I'm not to far from you and I'm looking to build my own pallet forks. Thank you.

Sure, It was Eastern Forklifts, the Baltimore (Arbutus) location. I just stopped in and talked to the service manager, that was about 4 years ago or so...

Schism,

I've called that place a couple months back and they didn't have any on hand. I need to get over there and get a set for my loader. It is hard to take a day off work though..... Good luck on your QA setup. I have to come up with a good QA for my bucket sometime soon...

Not sure if this will help, but ebay regularly has listings for a Universal Quick Attach Plate. Currently, ebay item number 320251607707. About $110 delivered.

I bought one of these ebay QA plates for my B26. Haven't finished the pallet fork rig yet or I'd post pix. Nice plate.
