The MAIN THING now adays is> KEEPING your fuel clean..& water FREE.. especially if its gonna sit..
Drain the tank.. if its got a bottom drain, collect about a pint/soda bottle full of fuel & cap it off & let it sit on the porch for a few days..
SEE IF it separates.. water will be on the bottom & fuel will sit on top..
Once u drain the tank, u should FILL IT AND add a conditioner to the fuel.. ANYTHING is BETTER than nothing.. PowerService, Lucas, Stanadyne?? Just look in WMart..They'll have "something".. AND FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS..
No sense in adding fresh fuel if u don't change the fuel filters..
Its getting THAT TIME of year where we put our machines away for a month.. SO do as instructed & she'll sleep soundly until it gets woken up.
And welcome aboard. & don't forget to check the engine oil EVERY TIME BEFORE u start it.!!!
