I've had my 3point finishing mower for a few weeks now, & I'm REALLY glad that I switched from the belly deck.
I wound up getting a 48" Sitrex (Italian brand) rear discharge deck & the "Pats easy change system" for less than 500 bucks. I cross referenced the blades by their dimensions & threw some Oregon gator blades on it too. After pulling a few wheelies on the steep part of my property I broke down & bought 5 suitcase weights for the front (Huge bonus that the bracket was already there on the front!).
Switching attachments is a breeze now. The only other thing I had to do was grab an attachment specific top link for the mower deck. The one that came with the tractor has been adjustable enough for the salt spreader, box blade, rake & weight box.... But came apart when I set up the new deck. A small price to pay though.
I'll try to get some pics up this weekend if the weather is nice. I can't wait to see how well it mulches the fall leaves ...... no more windrows or raking (hopefully)
