New Grand L3130

The dealer was willing to take 1k off the price so I upgraded to the Woods 9000 BH. Will have it in a couple weeks. The Spousal unit isn't exactly thrilled but....I can recover at least 1/2 the cost of the tractor with the work it will do during constrution.

I had to laugh when She looked at the L3130 and said "Its so small". Then again She grew up on a farm with 200+ HP trators.

And congradulations on the new L3030. I am going to be real interested to see how the Woods 9000BH and the L3030 work together. So please keep us posted and post some pictures if you can.

Thanks I'll let you know. The 7500 BH wasn't going to what we need without a lot of extra work. The 9000 is not a big rig or anything but should be ok. btw...I went with the tractor hydr vs a seperate pump. This also provides the added benefit of using the valve for something else like adding a cylinder to the blade.

We caught a nice break on my big dirt work. We were going to rent a dozer to take out a rolling hill about 6' above the road grade for my drive. When we met the county for aproval and the permit they said they'll do it. And they'll put the dirt where I want it for a gran total of $50. This includes the permit and all. I almost fell over!! Why the county wants to it and for almost nothing is beyond me but I'm thankfull.

Here is a link to the pics of the property. Pic4 is the dirt that needs to be moved. Unfortunately the pictures give NO perspetive at all. The first 350 feet or so has a pretty good grade to it. After crossing the terrace is a gentle slope. The terrace is about 6-7' high. The dirt from the hill will be used to create a ramp off the terrace to the bottom ground. The house will be down toward the trees on the bottom ground. The property is aprox 1400' wide and 1600' deep.
