Greetings from Wild Wonderful West Virginia.. Handle is 61sleepercab.... I owned 4 B model Mack trucks and the best was a 1961 integral built sleeper cab Mack so that is how my computer name came about. I have fooled around with lots of old iron, gas/ oil field engines 1/2 to 20 Reid, tractors, 8n,9n Ford,John Deere 420 dozer, Case SC, along with various vehicles 48 Ford coupe , 52 Ford f-2 , International KB5 and R-162 and various grist mills which I use to locally grind corn meal. Right now I am in military phase GI generator set, trailers, a deuce and a 5 ton. I like tinkering and fooling with the old stuff and have helped lots of folks get started in the old gas engine hobby. I hope to share what little I know about the old stuff and old time mechanics. Welcome to TBN, Mark!
I look forward to reading your posts - you have lots of valuable experience.
The old B series Macks look great. I drove some of the later R & D series, many years ago.
Especially liked shifting an R we had with a Quadruplex transmission.
Would love to get one for personal use, considering what a modern diesel pickup costs.
