I just want to say hello to everyone on the forums, past, future, and present. I am new to this site but understand how valuable forums can be. I've utilized them in the past for other various information exchanges. My wife and I recently purchased a 5 acre lot and had a house built. We moved in in Feb of 2013 and the entire piece of land to include some trees and some old pasture needs work. The house budget went to exactly that- THE HOUSE. After a year or so of native growth around the house, I'll be in he market for a tractor in two years.

The budget just doesn't have room for it right now. Yes, I want one now but I have to wait until some other things get paid off. I plan on building large retaining walls utilizing the natural lime stone boulders. Some can weigh in excess of 1,000 lbs. Also I plan on having a 1/2 to 3/4 acre pond built and using the tractor for touch up and finalization. Also a shop is on the distant wish list which the tractor will be used to help build. I have approximately a 300' gravel driveway that will always need maintenance. I live in Kansas which isn't exactly snow country but you can never count on not getting a few worthy snow storms. In fact, if it snows 5" you can count on a few feet worth of snow drifts in the worst spots. The fields will be bare and there will be 3' on the driveway. Needless to say the wind never stops blowing here.

Sorry for the long winded introduction. I know things will change by the time I'm ready to purchase but I'm leaning towards the B3350 w/cab or the L3560 w/cab. A friend of mine has many implements that he has offered the use of. Anywho..... Hello and I look forward to reading your comments.

Also, I am addicted to "Wildfire / 4shorts" / Specialty Repairs, AKA Paul Short videos. Having your own machine shop helps immensely when adding neat things to your equipment however not everyone with the tools takes the time to do it right. Sometimes Paul seems to overkill the mod installs but then again I've never lived in Newfoundland therefore I cannot accurately say what will or won't work for a specific application in that location. GREAT VIDEOS. I'm sure many orange tractor owners would order their tractors with some of the mods he has done if it were an option. I know I would.
