Hi guys , just found this forum. I have a Lowes by MTD 16/42 mower that I'm getting ready to rebuild/restore. I'm an auto tech by trade with 2 kids , 5 grand kids and 1 great grand daughter.

I'm in Efland (Orange county at the I-85 and I-40 merge). If you go to "my home" you can set your location and other information that can help people when they are helping you. You can get down to the town, or just a general area (like Piedmont, Mountains, or Costal Plain) whatever you feel comfortable with.

Good luck on the rebuild/restore, take some pictures and share with everyone while you're doing the job.
