Wednesday I tested the green one 3032e, wasn't impressed, Thursday went and tested Kubota L3301, didn't care for the treadle pedal, the hump in the operators station, the hard to get off feeling and the price so again really wasn't impressed.. Today, Friday I tested the yanmar yt235, machine ran quieter, more options, open station with little to no hump, tilt steering, FEL level rod, fel joystick at right hand fender location and it tested well, I liked it.. Then I asked the price, $3200 above green, $2300 above Kubota, Whoa, I thought secondary market shares where going to be less expensive.. Tomorrow Saturday I'll be looking at LS and Kioti, Got the best price yet on a Kioti ck 3510 so unless there's something that is just unacceptable I'd venture to say Kioti will get my $$.. BTW, Howdy from Oklahoma..

I like my 2013 CK27. Bought it used 2 yrs ago at 190 hrs. I now have 415 hrs. I shopped around but the JD specs weren't as good as the Kioti. The color of paint can get expensive ! I looked at total weight and hyd pump psi...Kioti came out on top. Only have had one issue and Kioti honored the warranty with no problems. I do like the treadle pedal as i do alot of loader work. I can get off and on either side. I just liked the way the Kioti was layed out for the operator. Good Luck !

Find yourself a Branson dealer and check them out. Might be glad you did.

Welcome to the site!! You are doing the correct thing in trying out the units before you form a opinion as to what to buy. A lot of folks go into a tractor purchase closed minded and don't even begin to give a fair comparison. There is a lot of good information here and a lot of helpful folks. Good Luck and may the best tractor for you win

welcome timmy59. I spent many months researching and test driving, etc. eventually settled on Mahindra 2555, just got it about 3 weeks ago. I am pleased. Dealership is helpful, etc. good luck to you.

Welcome to TBN!

We were in the same boat as you about 3 years ago now. JD we skipped entirely because green paint still carries a premium around here. Shopped Kubota, MF, NH, Branson, Mahindra, and Kioti. Looked at LS online only but never had a dealer close enough to make a drive out to see in person.

For Dad & I, Kioti ended up being the best value for the dollar and it physically fit better than some other models (Dad's a pretty tall guy & leg room was an issue).

As long as you use the correct model/series between brands to make a fair comparison, you don't see a lot of variance in features. It boils down to ergonomics, cost, and your gut feeling - what makes you happy.

Best of luck in your search.

I bought my first new tractor in 2001. I'm trading it in this week. I forgot what I paid for it. Read into that as you will.

If you have a good dealer there's nothing at all wrong with going to Kioti, LS, TYM, Mahindra, or any other brand. It seems like here in the northeast it's hard to find said dealers, maybe because Kubota, Case, JD, and Agco are so well established that no-one has the funds to try anything new in the compact market and keep after it for more than a couple of years.
