Tiller New guy need help with JD 445 tiller

I was wondering if anybody out there has takin a new 42 inch hydraulic tiller from a x585 or x700 and mounted it to a 445? I ordered 3pt and the dealer said that the newer tillers won't fit the older tractors. I have been looking for pics of the newer hydraulic tillers mounting bracket with no success. I'm hoping I'm not the first person with this idea. I'm open to suggestions and would be grateful for some help.

Did the dealer give any specifics as to what you might have to change?
The differences on my 445 to the X485 were that the old attachments would work on the newer model, but the new attachments would not work on the older model.

No they didn't give me any specs, thats why I was try to find some pics. I was thinking if the attachment would go from old to new, then they should go both ways.

Any chance to find a model tiller that fits the 445?

I see that it does, so that is the main difference. The frame of the newer tractors (X585) is different from the 445, and requires a different drive shaft/pump motor combination. If you can find/buy the 445 pump and drive shaft (with mounting), then the tiller looks to be the same (but didn't look at the 3 ph to see if they were the same or different).

Found this information on jdparts. You can register there (free) and look up the parts between the different tractors that take the 42 inch hyd. tiller.
