Just picked up a used Mahindria 3510, its got about 100 hours on it. Unfortunately it did not come with an owners manual. I am wanting to change the filters , oil & Hyd fluid.

I've found the Oil filter & Hyd Filter

What kind of Hyd fluid do I put in it and where do I put it in???

Also are there any other filters that I need to be aware of?

Thanks

Mike

Use a good quality tractor combination transmission/hydraulic fluid, and fill it at the plug located near the 3PH top link bracket. The dip stick is located on the top of the left side rear axil housing. Depending on the year of your tractor you will need 1 or 2 hydraulic filters, a fuel filter, and a engine oil filter. I can help you out with the filters if you would like. As far as the second hyd. filter if yours is one of the early models it will have a second hyd. filter located above the dipstick on the left side of the rear hydraulic housing, and can be seen from the rear of the tractor. If I can help you PM me or call me.

Wow

Quick reply ...from a dealer no less.

Ok you have my buisness, next tractor I buy I'm getting it from you, you will deliver to MO won't you :D

This is an 05 model, so don't think its an early model.

I'm away from the tractor right now, is there a seperate fill plug or do I fill thru dip stick tube?

Do I need to completely drain the fluid when I do the filter change or just top off? Any bleeding involved

Thanks Agan

Mike

PS: It has a FEL, that make any diffrence.

The fill plug is by the 3PH top link bracket, and you will have to change the filter fast, if you don't drain it, as you will loose a lot of hyd fluid when you remove the filter. If you know that this is the tractors 1st service, you should change the hyd fluid anyhow. Also the system will bleed itself with a quick run through of the loader operations. Good luck with it .

There's also a fuel filter that gets changed at 50 hrs and every 100 hrs after that. Abouit a 9.00 part.
