I've been lurking around the site for about two weeks and decided to finally join in for some of the conversation.
I borrowed a 2009 Scag Freedom Z for 6 months and love that machine. The owner finally asked for it back so had to return it. Now I want one. My question is would I be better off to spend the bucks and get the Tiger Cat or stay with the Freedom Z. I am not a commercial mower and don't plan on being. I only have 1 acre to mow with several trees. The Zero turn did cut my mowing time down by about 1/3 rd as long as before. In the summer that makes a big difference.
Help Please! All advise will be considered.

I think the commercial mower is always a good investment, but if you are only mowing an acre and you take care of it, the freedom will last forever.
