I posted a message in General and it may sound like I am too cheap to go to my local JD Dealer. I just wanted to provide additional information. I have been researching Tractor House and the Classifieds here to better educate myself.

Just don't want people here to think that I am cheap and looking on eBay only for the best deal. I have found several JD3320's on Tractor House, I just need to sell mine or trade it in. My local Dealer, who I have purchased 2 Tractors from in the past, is very high on his price and won't negotiate, to bad.

Scodemike - don't waste too much time worrying about being cheap! Those salesman or dealers aren't gonna buy next month's groceries or pay your light bill when money gets tight - you know what you can afford - and they know how much they need to pay their own bills. They'll let you know where the line is... and if the line is too far from your bottom line; that's just the way it is!

Look around; it's an Internet world. Contact other dealer's within reasonable hauling distance. You'll get a baseline to work from and an understanding of what is or isn't an "insult" or too cheap.

But, in today's economic climate - the real insult to business is - NO BUSINESS!

Best of luck.

I could not agree more - especially in these times everyone has to purchase to fit their own budget and concerns.

Thanks guys for supporting my process. The interesting part is the JD dealers don't appear to be as eager to sell as the Kubota dealer. The price delta is ~$2400 between the two for comparable tractors, the 3320 vs the 3240, both w/cabs. The received in their inventory dates are about the same, so it can't be explained away by recent price increases.

I have one more I am working with and should know something on Monday. If that fails, I will either buy used or stick with my current JD.

Nuru-Thanks I have seen all of those Tractors, a couple are in consideration, just waiting to sell mine.

As far as the last dealer, the trade in was much higher than the other's, but the overall price was as well. So my choices are; wait to see if mine sells and go back for a cash price or buy a used one.

Re: New Guy Purchase-3320 w/Pic

It appears I have sold my 4115 and either going tomorrow or Thursday to pick up the new one. It depends on how soon the dealer can get the things done I want added.

Here is a link to the new one; John Deere 3320 Tractors 2008 It also comes with the 300 CX Loader

I am adding rear work lights, rear wiper, Frontier RBT2072 rear blade and rear tires filled. I may add external mirrors, but I think that is something I can do.

Congratulations. Great lookiing toy or essential tool, as the case may be. When I bought mine, I had to choose between a BH and the Cab - they didn't have the 375 then.
