Welcome to TBN, there are some old Ford experts on here who can help you; Soundguy comes to mind, but there are others; might want to look up some of his posts.

Hi Garyb12, I just joined and am agonizing on a 8n, 600 or 800. At least you have the 4000 and are at work on it. I'm trying to decide on a beast at this point and due to budget am now looking for a 601 Ford with FEL and Power Steering. The more I read here the more I modify my target. Good luck.
