This forum helped me a great deal when deciding to buy a tractor. Never owned one before, but I'm retiring soon, and as the dealer told me they are the "Swiss army knife" of homeowner equipment.
I recently moved from a 16 acre property that was 95% hardwood Bush, to a 6 acre property with a 1000' driveway, and about 4 acres cleared. The thought of using a walk-behind snowblower for this driveway was intolerable. I figured I'd spoil myself and get something to make the job fun.
Our property has land that goes all the way down to a tidal river, but has been neglected for a couple of years. I have been using the Land Pride RCR1260 for clearing duties, and with a little extra work with the gas trimmer, it is just starting to come along.
I thank you all for the information I received in my search for my first ever tractor, and hopefully I will be able to provide assistance one day to others.
Cheers all!
