JD 4110
Hi There! Just wanted to say hello and thanks for GREAT insight in these discussions. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif I am in the process of buying a used JD 4110 (2003) with FEL, MMM, 48" Bush Hog, and 5' back blade. Hope to pick it all up next weekend. I am preparing to build on 2.5 acres. 30% is open flat area and the rest slopes with trees. Also there is a natural spring. I hope I am making a wise decision, as long term I will likely primarily mow. Short term, however I still have a lot of clearing and cleaning to do. I read with interest the info on liens. The fellow I am buying from said it was financed through JD,-- so if I pay off them and him I should be good-- right? Also any guesses on total weight of this equip. I think the 4110 is 1600#, but it has loaded tires, and I don't know about the FEL,blade, etc. Will a 16' trailer do. I will be traveling about 500 miles /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif Thanks again for all your help and bear with me if i'm doing this wrong!

The 410 FEL weighs about 700 pounds or so.

16ft trailer will probably work, but you may have to put the blade in first and set the FEL on it or do some arangement like that. You're load is going to be pushing 3000# so be careful and read the threads on TBN about tieing down tractors on trailers..
