New Hampshire Gathering

Just wondering if any of you folks are still going to make a trip to the open house in Weare.

My wife and I are going for breakfast at the Peterboro Diner, then we are going to mosey on over to Weare for as long as she can stand.

I'm sure there are some nice greenhouses in the area that you could visit if you don't have all the flowers she needs yet. Also, check out the weather forecast for Sunday and Monday I hear there may be snow in some areas predicted, not good for flowers.

Well I made it up to the Knoxland open house. Got there at 2:00 and it was raining. They had tons of equipment from Lawn mowers to skidders to heavy duty full size Ag stuff. We walked around and looked at the antique tractors. Then we watched a lawnmower pulling competion. It was pretty interesting. suped up lawn and garden tractors in a pulling competion. Some of them had custom paint schemes and chrome and others looked like they were taken from the junkyard just for this competition.

I was a little disappointed in speaking with a salesman about the compact tractors. I was interested in the 1225 with a FEL. One on the lot had a hydro. 1233 next to it was gear drive. Salesguy said they were the same tractor and XX25 stood for hyydro and XX33 stood for gear and that a 1225 was only avilable in hydro. .That's not what the website says. Was trying to sell us the hydro when my wife and I both drive cars with a stick and prefer it so after he left us I went in and read their own literature. Both the 1225 and the 1233 are available as stick or hydro and a 1233 has a larger engine than a 1225. So either he was very uniformed or he was deliberately blowing smoke up my shorts. Either way I didn't like it.

Didn't see anyone with a TBN hat.
