Hi, all. I'm new here, too. Last week, I became a very proud owner of a used but nearly new (c. 115 hrs.) John Deere 3320 with cab + AutoConnect belly mower and 300X loader. I also bought a new box blade and forks as additional options. The rest of the stuff (e.g., a 2 bottom plow -- or plough--if you prefer, disks, small bush hog, post hole auger, etc., I hope to cannibalize from my Dad's ancient Farmall Super A which hasn't run in 20 yrs.). I am one of the probably not-too-numerous women John Deere owners. I've lived the last 30+ yrs. in California (Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay Area, but I'm back home in my beloved NC now. I have about 40 acres in the eastern Piedmont of NC. The property is mostly now forest land, but there are about 8 acres of front and back "yard," which takes a lot of mowing time. My old trusty John Deere 140 riding mower was a bit too small and it took too long, but it was the beginning of my love affair with John Deere. As for having a "real" tractor now, I'm a newbie and I'm here to learn.
