I would think so. Very heavy tractor. Should be geared low enough to run it with slow ground speed. You will likely need front weights or the FEL to avoid wheelies.

Thanks. Was looking at a used king kutter and looked up the info And it said 35-50 hp tractor is 32 and pto is 28.5 so I wasn't sure if it would be able to handle it. In the meantime after looking up the cost of tines and skids and the fact that this tiller is pretty whooped that i will look for a 5' maybe even a little smaller since the tractor can be pretty narrow. And if i find a nice used or go with a new one. The 6' was actually pretty big for what i need and would have had over a $1000. In it after repairs and still not really no the true condition of the gearboxes

I have a NEW King Kutter 5' tiller.
Haven't used it yet! It is a brute!
Bought it for my Ford 1920
If you shop on line you can occasionally get a great price, shipped to your door with no tax!
I bought mine from Blaine's Farm & Fleet in Wisconsin, though I live 1500 miles away.
Shop for the best price, and best shipping price.
Shipping price can be a deal killer, but then, sometimes shipping is offered CHEAP!

Yes I definitely like the way the king kutter is made all heavy duty

I found this ( not sure if even still available) but it doesn't seem to be built half as heavy duty as the king kutter IMG_5494.JPGIMG_5493.JPG

My King Kutter supposedly weighs 690 lbs.
It is built like a tank!
I have 3 King Kutter implements. All are beefy built stuff.
But..... King Kutter paint jobs STINK!
No metal prep, and no primer.
They just spray a thick coat of finish paint on the raw steel,.... and it chips off very easily.
If you have 14.9 x 24 tires the 5' tiller will not cover the tractor tire tracks.
If you have 13.6 x 24 tires the 5' tiller WILL cover the tracks.
Depending on your soil, a 6' tiller may be too much for your tractor.
I have light sandy soil, but still opted for the 5' tiller.
Howse claims that their 62" tiller weighs 819 lbs. That is a good thing, but I think they also sell new for more money than the KK!
Lots of folks here on TBN have KK tillers, and it seems as though everybody really likes them.
I just checked out the 5' KK tiller at Blaine's Farm and Fleet.
$1555.99 for the tiller, and $142.69 for shipping from Janesville, Wi. to ZIP 15066.
That shipping is cheap for 690 lbs., and you might also catch a Blaine's coupon for a tiller discount.
If you have a nearby Rural King store though, they have the 5' KK in store price at $1549.99 plus tax.
You also might find a Rural King store discount coupon.

I believe the kk weight the 6' was like 750-800 lbs the howes just doesn't look as heavy built it does have the heavy cast side gear box. The way the tires are set right now I'm at 63" but by the looks they should go in another 2" on each side. Not sure if i would want it any narrower though. Might be worth taking a look at this howse as its 5.5' wide and says 30-50 hp the pto on the 1920 is rated at 28.5 I've never had a tiller my thoughts is if needed just go a lil slower? I thought i read on the king kutter that it didn't need the full 540 rpm when running it. I may have been confused too

I run this 5' tiller from Agrisupply. Very rugged. Had it 2 years now- never a problem. - 1319.99 + 347 shipping to my doorstep in Maine. Cheaper than the local Tractor Supply. The pics below are from when I had it delivered in March - just off the tractor trailer. My tractor is a NH TC30.

I have a 9x3 manual. 30hp, 25.5hp at the pto. I till in M 1st at 2200rpm. Going in L 1,2,or 3 just feels too slow, and it seems to do a better job going just that bit faster.

I bought my King Kutter tiller, and THEN I learned of the "Tillovator", sold by Agri Supply.
I assume the "Tillovator" may be built in China.
King Kutters (except gearbox) are made in USA.
That said, I have heard only good reports about the Tillovator, but it is chain drive, and the KK and Howse are gear drive. That is a major durability issue for me.
Agri Supply is a great company to deal with though,.... for buying ANYTHING!

Your ( tcreeley ) Tillovator price of $1319.99 + $347 shipping = $1667
The current price of the (KK) TG-60-YK from Blaine's Farm & Fleet is $1555.99 + $143 shipping to zip 15066 (Western, Pa.?) = $1699. That is a difference of only $32.
For the $32 difference I would DEFINITELY buy the King Kutter 60" tiller!
