Hi folks, the tractor in the title is missing on one cylinder. I just replaced the injection pump on it due to a serious leak. I lined up all the timing marks just like they were with the old pump. I have advanced and retarded the injection timing with no curing of the miss. It fires right up on what seems to be the first compression stroke. It takes longer than normal to reach 2k rpm and with the slightest load on the engine it really wants to lay down. My question is, can I remove the injectors without any fluids(coolant or oil) going into the cylinders or are the injectors used to seal off fluid passages? Is there anything special I need to know before I take them out? How hard are the to take apart? I looked at the parts break down and the isn't much to them. And can anyone tell me where to find a service manual, I have looked online at new holland's website and the service manual is the only manual I can't find. I'm about to tow it to the stealership because it's time to cut the brush and it's not running right. Thanks in advance.
