New Holland 545D Turbo year 2000

Help needed! I have a year 2000 New Holland 545D turbo with front end loader and rear PTO. High/low 4 speed transmision called a 8x8 Synchronized Power-Reversing Transmission. The last time I drove the tractor, I came up to a stop sign and when I started there was a short delay in starting the forward motion, each time I started and stopped the tractor this delay became longer untill there was no forward or reverse motion in either direction or high or low gear or any of the four speed gears. All hydraulics work for the loader and the PTO works, but there is no forward or reverse movement. I had the tractor hauled home. There is less than 3000 hours on the machine. Any and all ideas to fix the situation would be appreciated. With hind sight, can you tell me where I will find the clutch solenoid on this tractor.

Solenoids are in bell housing has relay box under dash assembly
What is stall speed
What color is oil does smell burnt
Could be clutches or torque converter also make sure brakes are not to tight and roll easily

Welcome to TBN.
This is considered an 8x8 transmission. It is independent of the loader and rear axle hydraulics. Your clutches and solenoids are most likely just fine.
This transmission depends on a good 12v from the battery.
The power for the electrical portion of the transmission comes from fuse 21, 5 amp, to the clutch pedal switch, then to the transmission module under the LH steering column shroud.
The clutch pedal could have been bouncing, a wire is coming loose or a wire has crimped and finally broke.
You can put a jumper wire from the + battery and hook into the wire leading to the computer to bypass any problems along the way.

The clutch switch is a sealed microswitch and can be bypassed or the older 545C/D switch van be installed or something similar if you even use or want it.
