Hi, I have a new holland 56 hay rake and I am trying to replace a bearing on a delivery bar. I took the nut off and removed it from the 5 star wheel and then removed the snap ring. Is there a trick to removing the bearing or am i missing something? Any help would be a great help! Thanks, Shane

Shane - Now that I think about it the first and last one I changed was on a 258 rake which had a grease fitting on the back side. I was able to take it out and use a punch to tap the bearing out. Try putting it back in the spider with the nut on and use a block of wood and hammer and see if you can drive it off the bearing. Hope that made sense!

Thanks, Bob! I used your idea about punching it out but I dont have a grease fitting so I drilled a hole, punched it out and then filled the hole in with weld. I did have a problem hooking it back up. I loosened up the spider to get the bolt in and then tighted everything up. Thanks for the help!
