New Holland 650 Not Tripping to tie

The baler won't start the tying cycle on its on. You have to get off the tractor and trip the lever on the baler. Anybody have any solutions to this problems

Check the brake pads on the trip mechanism .. If they are bad probably slipping and not allowing the trip action to begin
