Sep 30, 2020 / New Holland 8010 turns over but won't start

I have a New Holland 8010. These are the pictures here. What I am trying to find out
is this valve on the tractor. Well I turned it all the way to right and closed it. What is this
valve used for. The next thing I know is the tractor would turn over but not start. Is this a gas
valve?
