Well, it's been a long absence from the board for me and I've discovered a lot of new and interesting tidbits. I've snuck around the board playing catch up and have been tickled to see both old and new members. Muhammad finally caught up with me privately as a Forum Master can and welcomed me back. It is good to be back. Still got to be the best place to turn some digital dirt on the net. /w3tcompact/icons/cool.gif The pickle barrels at the local grocer have been gone for a long time. /w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif
While reading a post in Forum Feedback, I was alerted to the 10,000 post's the kubota boys are working on. Bets and dates set for the grand day. Myself, I was more impressed with the near total of 50,000 post's and a possible 25,000 registered user's. I first came to Muhammads corner of the world when it was only Kubota. So I wondered and looked further. As I started reading one of four Kubota areas, I first realized I might be adding to that grand total of 10,000. /w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif What me worry. I pushed on. To my amazement, more and more dissatisfaction in the shopping and owners group. Power steering that isn't. Hydralic fluid that doesn't. Dealers that won't and mechanics that could have. What has happened. /w3tcompact/icons/blush.gif
Again I say, what me worry. I held off purchaseing the TC last year at the first release. With the newer Blue color not being a major problem, I read on in the New Holland section and have seen more positive feedback. First I thought I was glad I held off on the first release. But then with little or no problems reported, I kick myself for the work I haven't got to do yet. It does tell me I did my homework last year and was happy and humble with the blue TC III's. I have also come to a better understanding of what I need between the gear and hydro drives.
What say you? Not to start a war of anykind cause Muhammad will catch up with me anyway. /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif Has your time in the saddle or dealers and machanics left any bad taste in the mouth or wallet? After all, nothing on rubber tires is perfect. "Not even the tires."

Hawgee, funny how you interpeted the whole "this thing leaking and the steering doing that" with the Kubotas. Most problems have been confined to small stuff. As one still looking for a tractor, I have been scared away from the New Holland line because of the posts here. With recalls on the TC 40 and 45's, and a variety of other issues that keep showing up with a relatively small number of owners compared to the Kubota forum, it does make an impact on my decision. Seems though that in the Kubota forum, the lil BX and other smaller tractors is the majority owned tractor and it isnt what I'm interested in so I do check both the NH and JD sites regarding the TC45 and JD 4700. I have certainly not ruled out any manufactuers and still believe that the 3 major manufactuers continue to force each other to come up with better and more innovative products. At any rate, its good to see you back again and by the way, McChalkley has appeared now and then but is very infrequent. He like me was not as interested with the smaller compacts and rarely expressed much opinion in that area. By the way, I did not check your BIO, did you get a tractor? I remember the pictures you had of the NH tractors you were looking at and or had that were manipulated doing various things, Rat... aka Paddock
