On the round balers, should you take tension off belts for winter storage? The manual says unless working on belts to leave tension on all the time. It doesn't mention anything about the belt tension in the section on storing the baler. I had a Hesston prior to this one and the manual recommended releasing tension during storage.

G'day as the manual say's leave the tension on them!!!. What happens if you take the tension off is the belts shrink but unfortunately they don't shrink evenly :( which can take a day or two of swearing and twisted crossed up belts at the start of the season for them to even out
