Need some advice. Appreciate everyone's opinion.

I am about to buy a new tractor for food plots and general land maintenance. I have it narrowed down to the New Holland Boomer 50 and the Kubota MX 5200 (may even consider the 5800). Can anyone give me their opinion on which one I should lean towards and why? Pros/Cons of either?

Any help is much appreciated!

I cant compare, but I have had a 5800 for 2 years. Its a strong tractor and have not had a single issue.

Don't have experience w/ Boomer Class tractor but the MX is a formidable machine. Mine is sturdy w/ ample power. If choosing a Hydro Trans, it is the basic version, No tilt wheel.
But does have adjustable pin style stabilizers and extendable lower links. Hydraulic Remotes and rear work light, additional. Seat is poor quality, replaced mine w/ higher back, side bolsters, 6 way adjustment, suspension, better cushion.

Depending upon your location, if a cab is desired, there is a very nice all glass aftermarket product available. I use a 9 ft-2 inch finish mower behind mine, mowing semi-tall pasture grass w/ no issue.
I do NOT have the DPF but still would likely not hesitate to purchase another MX.

Good Luck.

I just bout a MX5200 after owning Ford / New Hollands for over 40 years. My dealer who is both Kubota & New Holland tells me new New Hollands have at least 10 times more warranty claims than Kubota
