New Holland Crawlers

Supposedly scrapers pulled by ag tractors (like the Cat Challenger in the photo) are the big thing now, instead of traditional self-propelled scrapers. <A target="_blank" HREF=http://http://www.firestoneag.com/about/news_ed3.asp/>This</A> link is a story from Firestone about it. I know New Holland now has models of their new TJ big four wheel drive series set up specifically for scraping applications, and I imagine Deere and others do, too.

I do not know if it is a 360 bucket or if they just reversed the bucket. I do not know why that one is like that but it is at a dealers gathering showing new equipment. Most people use ag tractors for pulling pans now and JD, Case-IH, NH which is the same tractor as C-IH's and Cat all have scrapper package's for their tractors which consist of a lot of extra weights and beefier axels as well as a different drawbar to better match the pans.
