is the dealer the best place to buy a cutting edge for my 6 foot hd bucket on a 16la loader. I have not looked at price yet but figure a few hundred for one. I noticed my bucket has some wear on it and thought a cutting edge would be good. the holes are all there for it
thanks

If money were no object, I'd have a bucket with the cutter bar and another with a toothbar. I actually have two buckets, one 72" and one 60". The 72" has the toothbar and my 60" has nothing. That's because I first bought the cutter bar for my 72" bucket and had to remove it when I bought my toothbar. Are you following all this? I need to cut down my toothbar and install it onto my 5' bucket and put the cutter bar back onto my 6' bucket. That's because a 5' bucket is a much better digger than a 6' bucket. The 6-footer is great for moving and spreading loose materials than it is at digging.

I bought my toothbar from my NH dealer shortly after buying my tractor. It was just slightly under $200 then, so it's probably approaching $300 now. It is reversible and fits perfectly to the holes pre-drilled in my bucket. Be sure and get 1/2" grade 8 plow bolts to install the blade.

Here is a picture I took back in 2001 after installing my cutter bar.
