Was working on a bid out of my usual area and drove by a New Holland dealer, so I decided to stop in since I had some extra time to kill. I went to the brochures, since I could use some more bathroom reading material and I'm also looking for some new implements. I was puzzled as to why there weren't any brochures there for any compact tractors. I then found a salesman and asked if they were still making my tractor (t1520) and was told that a rep had clued him in somewhat that New Holland is getting out of the compact tractor market and focusing more on large tractors and combines because that's where the money is right now. Plus, I would guess competition between all the different brands of compact tractors is pretty fierce. I was also quite surprised the salesman said that he would reccomend buying a John Deere or Kubota (Honest guy!) It looks like I figured out why New Holland just doesn't care about the problems I have been having with my new tractor. I have always been a big fan of Ford/New Holland, but will be changing colors as soon as I can. Sad to see them go :-(
