New Holland DEF problems

I have a 2017 New Holland T4 110. I bought it new in 2018. It gave a 澱ad def code at 80 hours and went to derate mode. A dealer came and took it, said it was just need a regen cycle. Brought it back and had the same problem. They took it back and eventually replaced the def sensor after the mechanic had to have the New Holland rep tell him how to hook up the computer. Now at 180 hours had the same code. Another dealer took it, said it only needed a forced regen. After telling them, I heard that before. They brought it back and then...had the same code. The dealer said they could not replace any part (even though it is under warranty) with out it coding for that fault. Anybody have the same issue?

Welcome to TBN and sorry for your troubles. My advice is to take it back to the dealer and be extremely nice asking for their help. Sometimes being polite goes a long way in a dealer wanting to fight for you. Good luck!

Thanks, good to be here. I have been nice to the dealers. It is New Holland customer “service” that I may have been a little harsher. When I heard the NH rep tell the dealer that they had to find the part from another dealer and “talk them out of it”. Or take that part from a NEW tractor they had on the lot, I knew the dealer was not the main problem.
