After lurking around here on the forums a few weeks and looking at a great deal of tractors I have finally found the tractor I want! The New Holland TC40 is the only one I have found that actually "fits" me. I am 6'3" and leg room has been an issue on most of the CUTs so I am happy I have my mark. I have been able to strike a bargain with my local dealer and now I am wondering about the financing options.

Right now (until May 31 I think) New Holland is offering 0% for 36 months on the TC40 or 4.9% (dealer got that one for me) for 48 and 60 months. I was wondering if anyone in the know has any knowledge about the next financing promotion New Holland will be running. Will I be better off buying now (in the next 2 days) or seeing if a better financing option comes along?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Welcome to TBN :D! It sounds like you have tractoritis ;). Unless you want to go through the hassle of contacting banks and/or credit unions, the dealer's offerings sound reasonable. I went with the 0%/36 month offer when I purchased my NH. Good luck- Jay :)

The dealer's don't know what will be offered until the first of the month, but the 0%/36 month financing offer lasts until June 30th according to the NH site.

I think my dealer must have been a little confused when he told me that because it looks like the TC30 0% for 60 months expires on May 31. Good catch Ford850! I never was looking at the TC30 because the operator platform was too small for me.

I am hoping they will offer 0% for 60 on the TC40 like I have seen so many posts about (ran it last fall I think).

Update...........

I got my 0% for 60 months on the TC40A and went ahead and ordered it. That is one sweet machine and a long haul from my 1983 Long 310! :D

Congratulations on your deal and your new tractor. What part of the country are you in? What will you be using it for? And welcome to TBN.

WoW! 5 years of "free" money - can't beat that deal!!!

So did that deal compell you to buy a few extra goodies with it?

I live in SW VA in the Appalachian Mountains. I have 12 acres and will mainly be using the tractor for bushhogging pasture, driving posts and moving horse manure. This will be the first tractor I have owned with a FEL so I believe I will find many more uses for it. I have about 6 acres of pines to clear out and turn to pasture so I think I will be getting a grapple to aid in that task.

The only extra goodie I bought was a front bumper and a set of rear remotes with a control valve which I mainly added for my post driver.

5 years on the TZs and the TC30 is a pretty good deal. I like the TZ25, but I want a BH and am not sold on the Woods on the TZ. The TC30 is a little bigger than I wanted and I've been hearing about engine block problems. If the TC23/TC26 had 5 years 0% i'd probably pull the trigger.

We as dealers have no insight on what the upcoming programs will be. Rates if/or when they change is typically at the start of a new quarter.
