New Holland haybine 469

Broke belt on gear box side of haybine. Bought new belt. How do you get belt over gear box ? The woble box part seems easy, cant figure out the gear box.

If I remember correctly you take the input shaft off, remove the bearing on the far right side of the output shaft (probably with a torch), then unbolt the box and support plate from the frame. Slip the belt over the box and into the frame where it runs. This is spelled out in detail in the operator’s manual. You can download one from New Holland’s website fairly inexpensive,y and won’t haven’t wait on a poor quality reprint.
