New Holland Hayliner 283 Baler

My NH 283 small square baler is missing about every third or fourth bale. One of the knotters works every time but the other one will miss the knot on a regular basis, every third or fourth time.

Any ideas what is going on?

Not enough info given to answer in more detail than to tell you something is SLIGHTLY out of adjustment. if you haven't got an operator's manual, get one. If you have one, read the knotter troubleshooting section.

Take a look at the knife arm roller. Sounds like it has flat spots on it. Replace it and make sure the other side rolls freely too. Also inspect bill hook rollers, same thing. trac
