I just picked up the literature for the T6000 (TS-A) and T7000 (TM with new styling). I know the TG is suppose to be renamed the T8000 as it is in Europe but I did not see any literature on it yet. I would imagine the TN line will be the T4000 but I am not sure what they will do with the TC line. Maybe break it up like JD does with theirs.

Besides the new names and sheetmetal are there any other changes? When are the changes supposed to take place?

I don't think there are any major changes but I don't know enough about these models to be sure. Since the literature is out for the T6000 and T7000 I am thinking that any new tractor ordered from the factory will be the new name. The T6000 looks identical to the TS-A. The T7000 looks like a blend of the TS-A and the TG series.

Since the naming will be coherent w/ the euro names I wonder if theyll also normalize features. So, the ePTO will show up on the 'new' US T6000? Does your sales blurb mention it?

The T6000 (TS-A) does not list the e-pto in the small piece of literature I have. I think the TD-D's cousin in red paint is available with the e-pto though as I remember talking to another farmer who bought the JX (I think that is the model) to run his stationary items like a grain auger. He loved the tractor but I do not see the e-pto feature on the TD-D section of NH's site.

From what you are saying, it sounds like some logic and simplicity is returning to New Holland's model numbers. I hope that you are right because I am tired of this alphabet soup nonsense.

If I could ever figure out what is preventing this computer from posting pictures I would post some pics of the T6000 and T7000 literature. New Holland is always slow to update their website.

New Holland UK has info on the T8000 and T7000.

The UK has been running the T8000 for about a year now. Europe changed over last year and also changed the color of their baling equipment.
